Day 7 of the 30 Day Disney Challenge

Day #7: Your favorite sidekick

Genie! I love the Genie Aladdin, and yeah maybe I’m biased because ROBIN WILLIAMS, but I mean c’mon! He’s magical and awesome and lovely and hilarious and blue. Nuff said.

btw when I was little I thought the spelled out “applause” here said “apple sauce.”

Day 6 of the 30 Day Disney Challenge

Day #6: Your favorite animal

Tempted to say Maximus from Tangled. I think, however, I am going to go more with a speaking character to answer the question. I’m going to pick Goofy. I love his character in all the Mickey Mouse adventures and stories, and I rarely missed a Goofy episode and I saw all the Goofy Movies as well. I always loved how silly he was in the random movies, like A Very Mickey Christmas etc. etc. He just makes me laugh! He doesn’t care what others think of him, he loves his son so much, and he’s a great friend. He may mess up sometimes but he has the best intentions ALL the time.

Day 5 of the 30 Day Disney Challenge

Day #5: Your favorite hero:

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Hercules! What’s not to love about his story? And just the whole movie in general? I’ve had Zero to Hero stuck in my head for over a week now. I love this guy, his dedication and his bravery = amazing.

Day 4 of the Disney Challenge

Day #4: Your favorite prince

I’m torn between Prince Adam (The Beast) and Aladin. I think I love the Beast because of how different he and Belle are… and how difficult he can be: stubborn, has a temper. Their relationship reminds me a lot of my current 14 month relationship because my bf and I are soooo different and we’re both stubborn haha and both love books too! The dedication the Beast has to Belle is lovely <3

But Aladdin! Oh man. He’s got so much personality, and the length he goes to for Jasmine is so amazing. He’s so caring, even to other “street rats.” I love his story and how different  he is from all the other Disney princes. Plus he has a monkey. 

I love them both!

Day 3 of the 30 Day Disney Challenge

Day #3: Your favorite heroine

Mulan. Duh. When Mulan came out I was batshit crazy for her. When the film was released for VHS, I immediately asked my parents for my own copy and I also bought (well, they bought) a huge film poster and like all the action figures Disney made… including the horse and Mushu. I love her. So brave, confident, and such a good role model for young girls and women.

Day #2: Your favorite princess

This is lame that my answer is the same as yesterday’s, but she’s my favorite Disney Princess! Belle <3 I’ll just copy and paste why I chose her for today.

 “ Though not very rebellious, Belle, a book-lover, is intelligent, stubborn and outspoken, and exhibits some feminism behavior throughout her film. In the first film, Belle dreams of leaving her provincial village life and having adventures “in the great wide somewhere” like the ones she reads about in her books. The character has received mostly positive reception from critics, many praising her intelligence, wit, bravery and outspokenness” I really relate to her, I love books, I’m stubborn as hell but not very rebellious, I’m a nerd, and I like to think I’m a little witty and outspoken. =)

okokokok I’m going with Belle, who is also my favorite princess but shush for now.
